Hermeticism and is 7 laws, based on the teachings of Hermes Trismegistus sets forth seven principles that are essential for understanding the true nature of reality. It says:
"The principles of truth are seven in number; he who knows and understands them possesses the magic key which will open all the Gates of the Temple even before touching them."
These principles are: Mentalism, Correspondence, Vibration, Polarity, Rhythm, Cause and Effect, and Gender. It teaches that all of reality is ultimately mental in nature, and that everything in the universe corresponds to something else. It also enlightens in the idea that everything is in a state of constant vibration, and that opposites are actually two sides of the same coin.
